This site is published by AMA European Consulting SRL, an IT consulting firm based in Brussels. By using it, you accept the terms of use set out below.

Publisher

The site ama-ec.com, in its English, French (/fr) and Dutch (/nl) versions, is published by:

AMA European Consulting SRL also has offices in Paris and Lyon (France), London (United Kingdom) and Amsterdam (Netherlands). In these terms, ‘AMA’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ mean AMA European Consulting SRL; ‘you’ means anyone who visits or uses the site.

Hosting

The site is hosted by:

Its files are stored on Amazon S3 and delivered through the Amazon CloudFront network. The host only stores and delivers the site: any question about the site or its content should be sent to AMA.

Purpose of the site and acceptance

AMA is an IT consulting firm with offices in Brussels, Paris, Lyon, London and Amsterdam. We place IT consultants in the teams of client companies, offer pre-hiring and deliver projects. We recruit at every level and under every status: employee, freelancer, temp or student.

The site is informational. It lets you:

The site requires no account. Nothing is sold on it and no payment is made through it.

Nothing on the site is a binding offer or a commitment by AMA. Our services, rates, notice periods and assignments are agreed in writing, case by case, before anyone starts.

By browsing the site or using its contact form, you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. They apply together with our Privacy policy and our Cookie policy.

Access and availability

Access to the site is free. The cost of your equipment and internet connection remains yours.

We try to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be available at all times or free of errors. Access may be suspended, limited or interrupted at any time and without notice, in particular for maintenance, updates or security reasons, or because of a failure of our host, of the networks or of any other cause beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for such interruptions or their consequences.

You are responsible for your own equipment, software and connection, and for protecting them, in particular against viruses and intrusions. We take reasonable measures to protect the site, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

When you use the site, you must not:

Information on the site

We take care to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date. It is nevertheless provided ‘as is’, for general information only: we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or current, and we may correct or change it at any time.

Descriptions of our services, examples, durations and figures on the site (such as the number of consultants or our reply time) are indicative. They do not commit AMA and do not replace the written agreement that governs each assignment; where that agreement differs from the site, the agreement prevails.

Nothing on the site is legal, tax, financial or other professional advice. You use the information on the site under your own responsibility.

Job offers

The job offers shown on the site are AMA’s latest offers published on ice-berry (ice-berry.com), a recruitment platform and a partner of AMA. They are copied onto the site each time it is updated, not in real time: they may be out of date, and a position may already be filled or withdrawn when you see it.

Clicking an offer opens it on ice-berry. Applying on ice-berry, creating an account there or using the platform in any other way is governed by ice-berry’s own terms of use and privacy policy, not by these terms. AMA is not responsible for how ice-berry operates. You can also send us your CV through our contact form.

A published offer is an invitation to apply, not a contractual offer. It does not oblige AMA to recruit anyone, to keep the offer open or to follow up on every application. Sending a CV or an application does not guarantee an interview, a job or an assignment.

Contact form and files you send

The contact form lets you send us a request in one of four cases: you need a consultant, you are looking for a job, you want to propose a partnership, or something else. Depending on the case, you can attach one file (for example your CV), in PDF or Word format and up to 5 MB.

When you use the form, you undertake to:

We may ignore, refuse or delete any request or file that does not respect these rules. You remain responsible for the content you send us.

Sending the form does not create a contract between you and AMA and does not oblige us to take your request further.

Intellectual property

The site and its content (texts, layout, illustrations, images, the AMA name and logo) are protected by intellectual property law and belong to AMA or its licensors.

Subject to the exceptions provided by law, no part of the site may be reproduced, represented, adapted, distributed or otherwise used, in whole or in part and by any means, without AMA’s prior written consent. Viewing the site in your browser, for your own use, is of course allowed. Any unauthorised use may infringe AMA’s rights and lead to legal action.

The names and logos of the companies shown on the site, in the ‘Our clients’ section and in the strip of logos at the top of the home page, are trademarks of their respective owners. They are shown only to identify companies AMA has worked with or for. Their presence does not imply that those companies endorse AMA, its services or the site, nor any partnership beyond that work.

The Outfit typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License. LinkedIn, Google Maps, ice-berry and the other third-party names mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners.

Links

The site contains links to websites that AMA does not operate, including:

We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices, including how they process your personal data. A link does not mean that we endorse a website. Your use of it is governed by its own terms and policies.

You may link to the home page of the site, in any of its languages, provided the link opens the site in full, without framing it or embedding it in another website, and does not suggest any affiliation with or endorsement by AMA. Any other link requires our prior written consent. We may ask you to remove a link at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AMA is not liable for any damage resulting from:

To the extent permitted by law, AMA is in no case liable for indirect damage, such as loss of data, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for our own intentional fault or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our fault, or in any case where the law does not allow it, in particular under the mandatory rules protecting consumers.

You are liable towards AMA for any damage caused by your breach of these terms, in particular through content or files you send us.

Personal data and cookies

How we process the personal data you send us through the site, in particular through the contact form, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights are explained in our Privacy policy.

The site sets no cookies of its own. How it uses storage on your device, for example to remember your language, and the cookies Google reCAPTCHA may use once you start using the contact form are explained in our Cookie policy. Both policies are linked in the site footer.

Changes

We may change, suspend or remove all or part of the site at any time, without notice.

We may also change these terms at any time. The version published on the site applies as soon as it is online, and the date at the top of this page shows its last update. We invite you to check it regularly. If you continue to use the site after a change, you accept the new version.

Applicable law, courts and languages

These terms and the use of the site are governed by Belgian law, including Book XII of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, which governs information society services.

Before taking any legal action, please write to us so that we can look for an amicable solution. Failing that, any dispute relating to the site or these terms falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels (French- or Dutch-speaking, as appropriate). This is without prejudice to the mandatory rules protecting consumers: where the law so provides, a consumer keeps the benefit of the courts of their place of residence.

These terms are available in English, French and Dutch. In case of discrepancy between the language versions, the French version prevails.

If a clause of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the other clauses remain in force. If AMA does not enforce a clause at a given time, this does not mean that it waives the right to enforce it later.
