Working at AMA
You are not applying for one job. You are applying to a firm that places you, keeps you, and starts looking for the next assignment before the current one ends.
What AMA actually is
We are an IT consulting firm, not a job board. You sign with AMA — as an employee, a freelancer, a temp or a student — and your work happens inside another company’s team: a bank, an energy operator, a public institution, a retailer.
That gives you two relationships instead of one. The client you work with every day, and a manager at AMA who is not your client, and whose job is your career rather than this quarter’s delivery.
What happens to your application
A recruiter reads it, not a filter. You get an answer, including when the answer is no.
If your profile matches something open, we call you before any client sees it. You know the company, the team and the assignment before your CV leaves our office, and nothing is sent without your yes.
If nothing matches today, we say that too, and your file stays with us for what comes up next. Send your CV even when the published list looks wrong for you — a good share of assignments are filled before they are ever advertised.
On assignment
You work inside the client’s team, with their tools and their rhythm. Your review, your training and your pay stay with AMA. Your AMA manager comes to see you, and is the person you call when something at the client is not working.
Assignments usually run in periods of several months and are extended when both sides want it. Our consultants often stay on the same account for years, which is exactly why clients let us bring in the next person.
Between two assignments
The search for your next assignment starts before the current one ends, and finding it is not your job. You tell us what you want to do more of, and what you would rather not repeat.
The fields we recruit for
Project management, analysis and process, digital and marketing, development and testing, infrastructure and cloud, security, data and AI, support and operations. From first job to senior: if your job, current or intended, sits anywhere near that list, we are interested.
Where you would work
Our offices are in Brussels, Paris, Lyon, London and Amsterdam. Clients are mostly in Belgium and France. Some assignments are hybrid, some are fully on site — you know which before you accept.
How to apply
Send your CV with the form on the home page, or browse the open jobs on ice-berry, our job site. Both land on the same desk.
